R&I is dedicated to ensuring that faculty have the tools they need to successfully build their creative activity or research program at Nebraska. The Annual Research Report is a great way to learn about faculty projects happening at the university. Below are some links you will find helpful for your research and creative activity.

- Conflicts of Interest/Conflicts of Commitment – all faculty are required to complete an annual disclosure of any areas where personal interests or relationships might affect work duties and decision-making.
- Research Development – provides services and programs to help faculty prepare competitive proposals for external funding in today's hyper-competitive funding environment and help increase external recognition for the excellence and impact of faculty work.
- Research Responsibility – helps ensure that research is conducted with integrity and in accordance with federal regulations, state laws, and institutional policies, which is crucial to maintaining the high ethical standards of the university and the state of Nebraska.
- Sponsored Programs – supports faculty in obtaining and managing external funding to support research, creative, and scholarly activities, providing pre-award and post-award services throughout the award life cycle.
University Libraries
UNL Libraries is the intellectual heart of the campus and is home to wide-ranging unique collections, including agriculture, Great Plains history and literature, quilts, and the largest collection of Willa Cather materials in the world.
The Libraries has locations on city and east campus. Its branches include Love Library, Adele Hall Learning Commons, Dinsdale Family Learning Commons, the Library Depository Retrieval Facility, Schmid Law Library, and discipline libraries in architecture, geology, math, and music.
- Archives and Special Collections – manuscripts, university records, and rare book collections.
- Center for Digital Research in the Humanities – promotes collaborative, transdisciplinary digital humanities research in a joint initiative with the College of Arts and Sciences.
- Digital Commons – an institutional repository that provides access to over 135,000 publications by UNL faculty, researchers, and students. Contact the Digital Commons team and share your CV to have publications added.
- Nebraska Scholarly Commons – showcases work from faculty, staff, and students across all NU System institutions.
UNL librarians participate in a collaborative role with other Big Ten universities to provide shared resources to member institutions.
- Big Ten Academic Alliance BIG Collection – Big Ten members manage their separate libraries as a single, shared collection available to all faculty and students of member institutions.
- Big Ten Academic Alliance Geoportal – UNL is a member of this data curation network, extending our reach and capacity for geospatial information and research data.
